A few days after Francis had two children let go of two 'peace' doves, from the Apostolic window, which were in turn attacked by a seagull and a crow another incident took place concerning Francis & a bird. During his general audience on Wednesday, Francis had the Pope-mobile double-back so he could bless a parrot he saw in the crowd. Francis took the bird on his finger made a few remarks about its plumage and had his photo-op. The parrot was named Amore, in English (to) love, and repeated the word which the audience was chanting, "Papa!" The bird belonged to an interesting person named Francesco 'Ghyblj' Lombardi.
Mr. Lombardi said,
"It was fun, a sort of mixing of the holy and the profane. I am a world champion stripper and have the leading role in [erotic filmmaker] Tinto Brass's next movie."and further added,
"Pope Francis, who I am in love with, called it [the parrot] 'a beautiful gift from God.'"
