...meanwhile in a Basilica across town

Francis today went to the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere where he addressed the Community of Sant'Edigido.  While there he listened to how Sant'Edigido has helped the homeless in Rome and said,
"This word, 'solidarity,' so many people want to erase it from the dictionary, because to a certain group it seems like a bad word. No! It is a Christian word, solidarity. That's why you are family to the homeless, friends to people with disabilities, and you show so much humanity."
All the while across town Francis has 150 homeless squatters living in the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore whom for all intents and purposes he seems to be ignoring. (see, homeless squatters write letter to Francis)
