Doctor Francis gives his diagnosis on the Curia

According to Francis, the Curia is suffering from 15 diseases.  We at Call Me Jorge... are hoping he quarantines the Curia and himself for at least a year, else these diseases will rapidly spread.  Here is a list of the diseases of the Curia as only a modernist like Francis could imagine:

  • The disease of feeling 'immortal' or 'essential'
  • The disease of excessive activity
  • The diseases of mental and spiritual 'petrification'
  • The disease of overplanning
  • The disease of bad coordination
  • The disease of spiritual Alzheimer's
  • The disease of rivalry and vainglory
  • The disease of existential schizophrenia
  • The disease of gossip and chatter
  • The disease of deifying the leaders
  • The disease of indifference to others
  • The disease of the funeral face
  • The disease of hoarding
  • The disease of closed circles
  • The disease of worldly profit and exhibitionism

Dear reader, do you see any diseases which Francis seems to be suffering from?

Francis ended his talk with this little dandy,

"priests are like airplanes, they make the headlines only when they fall, but there are many who fly. Many criticise, and few pray for them."

What?

    1. exactly! It's common, as far as I am aware, with people suffering from mental or emotional illness pathology, to attempt to bring everyone else into their state of dysfunction. I think you have accurately assessed Bergoglio's constant criticisms - they ARE projection, absolutely!

  3. Maybe I need new glasses. Did he say that the Vatican is the new Sodom & Gomorrah?

  5. I'm reminded of a real Church Doctor's diagnosis of the Judaizing disease.
