And here is how Catholic Online depicted St. Jospeh and Child Jesus today in the web entry, Pilgrimage with Pope Francis - SIXTH STATION - St. Joseph, patron saint of fathers.
Dear reader recall that Francis' favorite piece of artwork in the entire world is the blasphemous White Crucifixion by Marc Chagall which depicts Jesus the Christ as a Hasidic Jew. Is it any wonder that St. Joseph and Child Jesus are being portrayed in new artwork under this same guise? For those who don't know, Hasidic Judaism was founded in Poland in the 18th century by Rabbi Yisroel (Israel) ben Eliezer, (aka Baal Shem Tov).
I won't hold my breath that they will release my post:
ReplyDeleteI pray that it was only innocent ignorance that prompted you to show St. Joseph and the Child Jesus dressed as Polish Jews from the 18th century A.D. Are you ignorant that those Chasidic Jews blaspheme Jesus and his parentage, insulting St. Joseph as a cuckold and the Blessed Virgin as a prostitute? They teach that Jesus was a "mamzer" [bastard] conceived adulterously in "niddah" [menstrual filth] by a Roman soldier named Pandera [Kallah 51a] of a whore [Sanhedrin 106a] and that He is now in Hell boiling in feces and, in some editions because Jesus is accused of sexual perversion, semen [Gittin 57a]. Schafer's Jesus in the Talmud documents much more, including the Talmud claim that the Sanhedrin justly executed Jesus because he was an idolater [Sanhedrin 43a] who worshipped a brick [Sanhedrin 67a], even boasting that the Sanhedrin overcame Roman opposition to the execution of Jesus [Sanhedrin 43a].

@ Mark Smith ---your post is visible at Catholic Online as of Sept. 17 in the afternoon.
DeleteCMJ- thanks again for pointing out the Judaizing of what used to be Christianity which is rife within the protestant evangelicals and other heretical sects as well - see their being enamoured of people like Johnathan Cahn and his Shmetinah, etc.

ReplyDeleteI wonder how many of these "religious" would bother saying a fifteen decade rosary or the seven sorrows of the Blessed Virgin every day?
DeleteFrancis has yet his movie.

Oy vey. In the next installment of this blasphemous JudeoXtian depiction they'll probably ditch the iconographic lily (the House of David) and substitute a chicken. And where one should ask is baby Yashua's dreidel? Also, let's make the tassels on rebbe Joseph's prayer shawl a little longer.
ReplyDeleteWith all due respect (actually, you don't deserve much, you are a prideful windbag) why is the word "Hasidic" even being invoked to describe this portrait of St Joseph and Child Jesus?
ReplyDeleteYou prove that Traditionalist Catholics are generally always pathological antisemites.
You prove that slanderers up to no good can't even handle the full volume of facts, because that would defeat them.
What Jesus and St Joseph are shown wearing in that portrait is, if not the dress of 1st century Jews in Galilee, still a good deal closer than any of the Catholic depictions you've contrasted it with. The Messiah whom you erroneously think "hung Torah on the cross" certainly wore a tallit with fringes. If a striped tallit worn on the head means Hasidic to you, you're not well versed in the full range of Jewish expression the world over; a striped tallit gadol has been draped over the head since at least the middle ages, way before Hasidism.
And they weren't blondes.
If they looked like the people in this photo, you might have had a valid point: http://collections.yadvashem.org/photosarchive/s637-469/6459045624961533788.jpg
