ZzZzZz...

Archbishop Piero Marini,
(former) Master of Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations,
answers the question,
“Why is the (Novus Ordo) mess boring?”

How is this boring?

Sacrilegious—yes but boring—no!

  1. It goes without saying that the Novus Order is sadly lacking ...to be blunt it is an aberration and for an individual to find it boring should clearly speak to the fact that their experiment didn't work....even after they made it all about man it still didn't work. Marini doesn't get it , even with all his so called ecclesiastical knowledge, he's as uncatechised as the person who would make the statement that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is boring. He's in some good company these days ...the man at the top is uncatechised as well.

  2. Archbishop Piero Marini, I believe is not Master of Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations, that's Msgr. Guido Marini, Acb. Piero is head of the Roman office that oversees Eucharia tic Congresses. He WAS the former pontifical master of ceremonies under Pope JP II.

    1. Yes, Archbishop Piero Marini was the Master of Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations for twenty years under John Paul II & Benedict XVI. He is currently the president of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses.

  3. Why is (V2) "Mass" boring? According to this guy, it's the inculturation that makes the "Mass" interesting. Before Vatican Council II, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the immemorial Mass of the Aposltes and martyrs had been boring. The Novus Ordo church simply needs to step the variety/inculturation in liturgy and all will be well. Sounds like a plan with an endless shelf life.
