Birds of a feather flock together

Francis and Shimon Peres are longtime buddies and collaborators.  It was at Shimon’s behest that Francis took his trip to Israel,  Peres also called for Francis to head a new United Nations for Religions, and finally this descendant of a long line of heralded Haredi rabbis endorsed the blasphemous Hebrew language edition of Rabbi Skorka's and Francis’ book Rome and Jerusalem: Rabbi Talks with Pope.

  1. Picture of the 2 chosen ones should have a bubble saying "Did you hear about the Jew who became Anti-Pope?" Perez bubble should read "Lmao!"

  2. Peres then took the Pope’s hands in his and said: “The world is blessed that your voice is strong; people listen to you; you bring hope that they can achieve their dreams. Continue using your voice to champion peace and to bring the world to a better place.

    Tikkun olam through Francis!

  3. Francis brings "hope" what does this mean?

What do Jews hope/expect of the future?

Traditional Jews hope for the arrival of the Messiah and the accompanying age. (See the above question on the Messiah.) Some liberal Jews reject the concept of a Messiah, but still hope that man will create the same type of moral world that the traditional Jews believe the arrival of the Messiah will usher in. Traditional Jews also expect the revival of the dead at the end of days along with G-d's presence manifested on Earth.

"Hatikvah" (Hebrew: הַתִּקְוָה, pronounced [hatikˈva], lit. English: "The Hope") is the national anthem of Israel.
