Fatima profaned with multimedia light show

On October 12th, 13th, and 14th at midnight the facade of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima in Fatima, Portugal was profaned with a light show. Titled, Fátima — Tempo de Luz (“Fatima — Time of Light”), it was reminiscent of the Fiat Lux which profaned St. Peter’s Basilica on 8 December 2015.  The multimedia light show purports to tell the story of Fatima over 100 years in seven scenes. This is how the Novus Ordo choose to commemorate the Centenary of the 6th Apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Cova da Iria and the Miracle of the Sun. Below is a preview of this multimedia extravaganza. Look for Francis, ‘the bishop in white’, at the 7 minutes and 51 seconds mark. We leave the reader with one question... Is nothing sacred any more?

The False Lights of Fatima

  1. Give them light shows and circuses.
I don't speak Portuguese, so I don't know what they are saying, but my guess it's just more New Age Catholic-Globalist blather. I recognizes "paz" for "peace", which the globalists are all about. The frequent use of the imagery of the splintering or fracturing of the Church is ironic, is it not, since that is what is happening, exactly. Apropo, the visual of the shattering fragments.
And of course, the reinforcement of the papal parade, lest we forget who is the current occupant of the Chair of Peter, as if we could forget for one day! Would he let us forget by remaining silent for 24 hours? I don't think so.
And naturally, the always present representation of "everybody on the earth except white males", which seem always to be off limits to Globalist New Church. Yes, those pesky white men, we don't want any of those. Not one image of a male could be seen, unless they were accompanied by women with dark complexions, I couldn't see it that well so I don't know. But oh, the relentless multiculturalism, it never ends. This is a montage about, PEOPLE, not Our Lady, certainly not Jesus Christ, who makes an appearance at the end to bless the pagan put on that he was incorporated into.
Light shows are actually pretty cool, and they are fascinating in their own way, but there's something about it that strikes the wrong chord when they are displayed on buildings that ought to remain a sacred space, it's all wrong, and demeans the space as just another venue for the insatiable need for entertainment. God is not enough, give us light shows.

  2. I don't think I have the heart to watch it....at least not right now...maybe later if I can garner the gumption.

  4. This is the earthly dwelling of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. This is one of the outrages, sacriliges, and indifferences by which He is offended. Make reparation for this.
