A sand Nativity Scene is coming soon to St. Peter’s Square

“A Savior is born!”

Previous sand nativities made by the ‘Jesolo Sand Nativity’ company.

The Cult of Francis — the ‘savior’ of children.

 A somewhat traditional creche.

A somewhat odd photo and Nativity scene.

The infant Jesus as a refugee savior.

The Moslems from Africa are our ‘saviors’ too!

Other works produced by the Jesolo.

No clue what it is but it is large.

A dead person, like last year’s creche in St. Peter’s.

 Obese people embracing.

Angkor Wat.

Tribute to everyone’s favorite revolutionary communist, after Che Guevara, for his 100th birthday!

What have all these revolutionary modernists concocted to ‘honor’ the birth of Our Savior, Jesus the Christ?

When completed, 700 tons of sand will be sculpted into a temporary creche.

The project is under the watchful eye of one his henchmen and has Francis’ full approval.

To be unveiled December 7th!

  1. This guy loves to annoy faithful Catholics, so odds are for that reason alone he will make sure it's controversial. I wish there were odds on this thing, because my money would be on that.
Even if it were beautifully done, how much does this thing cost? To move 700 tons of sand IN and OUT alone, is a lot of money. Who pays for this?
And sand, is nowhere near as lifelike or beautiful to look at as a plain old Nativity scene, can't he just have that done?
No, that might be inspiring, or traditional, and we can't have that.
