Krzysztof Charamsa, a prelate who works for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) and a professor of theology at two of Rome’s Pontifical universities, the Gregorian and the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, announced he was a sodomite and had a sodomite lover.
And then before the week ended...
It was announced that yes, Fr. Tomasz Kijowski the spokesman for World Youth Day Kraków 2016 had been suspended from his duties and was in the process of being defrocked. What was the reason for this? Kijowski left the religious community of the Salesian order he was a member of in June 2015 of his own accord to be with his paramour and the mother of his child!
These are just two more scandals to add to the Polish Church's growing list, which of late includes Witold Bock and Jacek Krzysztofowicz.
