Where did Francis get his name?

Flashback to 2013...

Claudio Hummes, the little voice in Jorge’s ear.

When Jorge appeared on the balcony after being named as Pope Franciscus, he was standing next to Cardinal Claudio Hummes of Brazil. This was a break with Vatican protocol as Cardinal Angelo Sodano should have been next to Jorge as he is the Dean of the College of Cardinals. Cardinal Hummes and Jorge have long been good friends. After Jorge was elected Pope in the conclave several of the Cardinals jokingly suggested he take on the name Clement XV to rebuke Pope Clement XIV who suppressed the Jesuits. Instead Jorge remembered how his friend Hummes helped him in the conclave and gave advice.
“During the election, next to me was Cardinal Claudio Hummes, a great friend. When the'danger' grew, he would comfort me. And when we reached two thirds, Cardinal Hummes hugged me and kissed me saying, ‘Do not forget about the poor,’ so then in my mind I immediately thought of Francis of Assisi.”

Was this divine inspiration or has Jorge , his entire life, harped on and on about the ‘poor church’? Jorge sharing this story about the conclave, which isn’t supposed to be talked about, leaves one to guess he trying to put on a false public demonstration of humbleness? Someone who is truly humble wouldn’t have done this. Interestingly Cardinal Hummes said in an interview, “the fact that he has recently chosen the name Francisco. I am a Franciscan, so it involved me very personally.”

Hummes go on to say,
“Not only in the Curia are many other things: the way we do Mass, to evangelization, the new evangelization needs new methods. The pope spoke at the meeting with the cardinals on new methods, we need to find new methods.
But they spoke mostly of the Roman Curia, which needs to be reformed structurally. It is very large, but all this needs study, we do not have many coordinates…
…The church no longer works. The issues which have happened lately show how it does not work. And then, once this new design is finished, you have to look for suitable people to fill these positions, these services.”

What has then happened? Francis appointed eight Cardinals to an Advisory Panel who will advise him and reform the Vatican. Who is Cardinal Hummes? Hummes perceives Catholicism as a personal encounter with Christ. Hummes sheltered the Basic Christian Communities (BCCs) in Brazil which were a product of liberation theology. He gave Frei Betto and Leonardo Boff (the two creators of liberation theology) a safe place from which to disseminate their ideas. He encouraged the BCCs to spread among the poor and sees this as a new model for the Church. This growth of BCCs was responsible for the creation of socialist parties and the elections of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff in Brazil. In a 2006 interview with Brazilian newspaper O Estado de Sao PaoloHummes said, “even though celibacy is part of Catholic history and culture, the church could review this question, because celibacy is not a dogma but a disciplinary question.”

A joke told by the then President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff after meeting with Francis was, “the Pope is Argentinian but God is Brazilian.”  This joke certainly has the ring of truth to it.  Dilma Rousseff is a Marxist-Communist who is pro-abortion, pro civil unions, and against the death penalty.  As a Marxist she was a member of Comando de Libertação Nacional a terrorist organization financed by Fidel Castro which was responsible for at least:  four bank robberies, two bombings, the murders of American Captain Charles Rodney Chandler, British sailor David Cuthberg, and dozens of Brazilians including two policemen.  Dilma Rousseff is a Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church. Back in 2010 before she was elected President, Dilma signed a pledge, with evangelical protestant religious leaders, if she was elected she would not sign or pass new abortion legislation.  Abortion legislation was signed into law 1 August 2013 by President Dilma.  During Francis’ trip to Brazil for World Youth Day 2013 he met with President Dilma but didn’t mention abortion.

Benedict XVI further clarifies why he resigned...

It was jet-lag!

A new one for the history books!

Today, the Italian daily newspaper, la Repubblica, published an interview of Benedict XVI conducted by Elio Guerriero — “Troppo stanco, così ho lasciato il ministero petrino”.  This interview is an excerpt from the soon to be published book, Servitore di Dio e dell'umanità, La biografia di Benedetto XVI (Servant of God and humanity, The Biography of Benedict XVI).  In this interview the question of Benedict XVI’s resignation comes up and the particulars surrounding his decision. In his own words Fr. Benedict says,

“In particular, the date for World Youth Day had already been set, which was to take place in the summer of 2013 in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Now, in this regard, I had two very specific beliefs. After the experience of the trip to Mexico and Cuba, I no longer felt I would be able to take such a demanding journey. In addition to this, the setup of World Youth Day given by John Paul II made the physical presence of the Pope essential. We did not consider using a television feed or using some other technological means. This also was another issue that made the resignation a duty for me.  Finally, I had certain trust that even without my presence the year of faith would still go well.  Faith, in fact, is a grace, a generous gift of God to believers.  I had, therefore, the firm belief that my successor, as well as and then happened, he would equally bring it to fruition as the Lord desired, the initiative started (launched) by me. ”

Later in the interview’s follow-up question, Emeritus Benedict expands on the answer as if it wasn’t already comprehensible,

“Above all [after the Mexico/Cuba trip] I realized was no longer able to face a future in transoceanic flights because of the problem of jet-lag.  Of course I also discussed this issue with my personal doctor, Prof. Patrizio Polisca, MD.  Thus it became clear that I wouldn't be able to attend World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro in the summer of 2013, because I would not be able to endure the jet-lag.  From then on I had to decide in a relatively short period of time on the date of my resignation.

Well ladies and gentlemen, we have yet another first from Joseph Ratzinger!  He resigned from his papal office because he couldn’t “endure the jet-lag.”  What happened to picking up your cross and offering it up for Our Lord?  Or better yet, why not cancel the trip?  (And all future World Youth Days!)  From his conduct one would think Benedict XVI was answerable to someone other than God.

So, the spectacle of World Youth Day must go on.

It’s not like Joseph Ratzinger has ever followed Catholic tradition in anything he did.  In fact, he has a history of bizarre statements and actions.

The papal revolution must go on!

Francis tells youth to do their “duty and make chaos all night”

Francis addresses World Youth Day participants from the
balcony of the bishop's palace in Krakow. (27 July 2016 )

You must do your duty and make chaos all night. Show your Christian joy, the joy the Lord gave you to be in the community who follows Jesus.”

Doesn’t that remind one of the words Francis said to the youth at World Youth Day: Rio 2013?

“I want to tell you something. What is it that I expect as a consequence of World Youth Day? I want a mess. We knew that in Rio there would be great disorder, but I want trouble in the dioceses!”

“You must do your duty and make chaos all night.”

Way of the what?!

Few things leaves us, at Call Me Jorge..., at a loss for words and this is one of them.

The 'gay lobby' comes to the Vatican for a visit

...no word yet on if they produced
an ID card to gain admittance.

Randy Berry and the Noahide pro-sodomy rainbow flag.

On Tuesday, Randy Berry met with Vatican officials from the Holy See's Secretariat of State and the Pontifical Council of Justice and Peace to discuss the persecution of sodomites, lesbians, and transgendereds around the world. Who is Randy Berry? He is the first-ever U.S. Special Envoy for the Human Rights of LGBTI persons and was appointed to this newly created position by President Barack Hussein Obama. Conveniently, Francis was out of town, viewing his favorite blasphemous piece of kitsch, when Mr. Berry stopped by for his visit.  We're guessing Randy felt at home during his time at the Holy See.

flashback

“Then you spoke of the gay lobby. Agh… so much is written about the gay lobby. I have yet to find on a Vatican identity card the word gay. They say there are some gay people here. I think that when we encounter a gay person, we must make the distinction between the fact of a person being gay and the fact of a lobby, because lobbies are not good. They are bad. If a person is gay and seeks the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge that person? The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains this point beautifully but says, wait a moment, how does it say, it says, these persons must never be marginalized and “they must be integrated into society.”
The problem is not that one has this tendency; no, we must be brothers, this is the first matter. There is another problem, another one: the problem is to form a lobby of those who have this tendency, a lobby of the greedy people, a lobby of politicians, a lobby of Masons, so many lobbies. This is the most serious problem for me. And thank you so much for doing this question. Thank you very much!”

Sodomites are huge fans of Francis and consider him a 'hero'!

Francis' nephew paying his noahide dues

Jose Ignacio Bergoglio and Marina Muro posing next to
the six pointed rainbow colored star.

Jose Ignacio Bergoglio and his live-in girlfriend Marina Muro attend the night of celebration for the 80th anniversary of Delegación de Asociaciones Israelitas Argentinas (DAIA).  DAIA is the Argentine affiliate of the Latin American Jewish Congress and World Jewish Congress.  Jose Ignacio Bergoglio founded and is the head of Haciendo Lío as well as one of Francis' nephews.  Haciendo Lío literally translates as 'making a mess' and Jose was inspired by Francis' words of the same effect, "I want to tell you something. What is it that I expect as a consequence of World Youth Day? I want a mess. We knew that in Rio there would be great disorder, but I want trouble in the dioceses!", at World Youth Day Rio 2013.   Francis and his nephew, Jose, are in regular contact by phone every Sunday.

Laudato si (aka Francis' glo-BULL warming encyclical)

Francis says mother nature isn't merciful!

Tomorrow is the scheduled release date for Francis' newest encyclical.  The often delayed encyclical had a draft copy leaked to the press.  Since it is a 'Jubilee Year of Mercy', Francis the humble decided to demonstrate his Chesed of Gevurah and relieved Sandro Magister, the journalist who leaked the encyclical, of his 41 year old press credentials to the Holy See.  Imagine what he would have done if he hadn't been in so 'merciful' a mood!

Bye-bye Sandro! See ya later alligator!

Call Me Jorge... took a cursory look at the Italian document and we were not impressed.  In it Francis quotes; the heretic Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (pushed the fraudulent 'Piltdown Man' as one example of evolution), Evangelii Gaudium #222, Ali Al-Khawwas (an illiterate Moslem Iman), then blames global warming on human beings, and much, much more!  It will be interesting to see how the final document compares to the draft copy and if Francis incorporated any suggestions from his 333 rabbinical brethren.  One can safely bet that the encyclical will be full of feel good platitudes which are there to further enslave the peoples of the world to the finance/usury elite and finish the steps of processing them into the Noahide mindset.

As for everything Francis utters, it is do as he says, not as he does.  Remember his trip down to Brazil for World Youth Day in 2013?  Francis' bishop ordered 334 century old trees to be cut down as to accomadate the anticipated crowd there to see Francis.  As told by Caitlyn Schmidt in U.S. Catholic's article Another reason for Brazilians to protest: Deforestation for the pope's visit,

As the country with the largest Catholic population prepares for the pontiff’s visit, church leaders from the diocese of Sao Sebastiao de Itaipu, in the city of Niteroi, are literally clearing the way for his arrival. Now negative environmental impact of land is being added to Brazil’s already lengthy list of reasons to protest.
To accommodate the expected 800 pilgrims who will join his for Mass, more than 300 centuries-old trees have been cut down at the edge of the Serra da Tiririca National Park and on church-owned property. The vacant land will now be enough to space for the papal Mass and all of the churchgoers.
Niteroi’s vice-mayor Axel Grael, however, claimed that church leaders never asked for permission to deforest the land. In an article in O Globo, a Brazilian newspaper, he said, “The incident is lamentable. An event for youth should be educational and demonstrate a commitment to the environment and the future. This removal is a criminal act.” Many Brazilian officials are pressing criminal charges against the Catholic Church for these actions.
Someone should definitely have been asked before they cut the trees down. To remove trees on private property is one thing (although probably not advised), but in a national park, it is illegal and, not to mention bad for the environment.

Cutting down the Brazilian rainforest for Francis.
God always forgives … our misdemeanours, our abuse, God always forgives; men forgive at times; but the Earth never forgives. We must care for our sister the Earth, our Mother Earth, so that she does not respond with destruction.”
Francis, L’ Osservatore Romano, November 28, 2014, p. 16.

Francis' name is on the front door and he didn't own up to what the bishop under him did.  He can't even get the small stuff correct but he expects to get the big things right.  Just remember most members of the Novus Ordo Church will ignore the soon to be released encyclical when in fact it is doctrine as explained by Pius XII in Humani Generis,

20. Nor must it be thought that what is expounded in Encyclical Letters does not of itself demand consent, since in writing such Letters the Popes do not exercise the supreme power of their Teaching Authority. For these matters are taught with the ordinary teaching authority, of which it is true to say: "He who heareth you, heareth me";[3] and generally what is expounded and inculcated in Encyclical Letters already for other reasons appertains to Catholic doctrine. But if the Supreme Pontiffs in their official documents purposely pass judgment on a matter up to that time under dispute, it is obvious that that matter, according to the mind and will of the Pontiffs, cannot be any longer considered a question open to discussion among theologians.

We at Call Me Jorge... dread to read this upcoming encyclical.

POPE is POP

The origins of connecting Francis with pop aptly comes from WYD Rio 2013.  It was shortly before his visit to Rio that the youth there began referring to Francis as the "Pop Pope".  These videos from the Novus Ordo church with the song POPE is POP sum up Francis and his pontificate.  The Novus Ordo's last hurrah is the media driven popularity of Francis.  Like eating cotton candy, Francis provides no spiritual substance nor does he pass on any traditional church teachings.  What he does is sell poison to the masses while telling them it is spiritual nourishment.

Where Francis gets his ideas

left to right: Leonardo Boff, Lutheran bishop Manuel Acuña (Francis' favorite exorcist), and Nobel Peace Prize winner, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel (instigator of the Marxist-Leninist guerrillas in Argentina)

One of the people Francis gets his ideas from is Leonardo Boff the catholic priest, professor, and theologian.  Strange as this sounds it is true.  Francis and Boff are not only admirers of each other but also confidants.

Boff was the first one to notify the non-Argentinian press that a change was in the winds concerning catholic doctrine.  Leonardo Boff stated in an interview that Jorge Cardinal Bergoglio helped homosexuals adopt children:

Recall Francis' first trip abroad as the pontiff for World Youth Day Rio 2013 to Brazil, the homeland of Leonardo Boff?  Here is what Juan Arias of El Pais wrote about it:

On arriving in Brazil, the Pope asked for a copy of the recently published book by "rebel" theologian Leonardo Boff titled Francisco de Assis e Francisco de Roma (Francis of Asissi and Francis of Rome), where he analyzes the breakthrough this Pope is bringing to the Church with a return to the origins of Christianity.

...However, Boff confided the following: "A friend of the Pope's from when he was Archbishop of Buenos Aires, with whom Francis talks on the phone every week, told me she asked the Pope if he intended to receive me and his answer was 'I want to do it, but only after I've finished the reform of the Curia.'"

...Boff told me that Pope Francis has accepted the most primitive concept of liberation theology in his program. "Remember, Juan, that theologian Carlos Scanone, who launched that theology in Argentina, was a professor of Bergoglio, the future pope, when he was teaching theology in a school on the outskirts of Buenos Aires."

Boff pointed out that Scanone developed a liberation theology that was tied to "populist theology", different in some ways from the one that was developed later by the current that was inspired by the theory of Marxism which claims to rescue the poor and excluded through changing political structures. According to Scanone's theology, it's the people who must carry out their own liberation from the power structures that enslave them.

"In that sense, we could say that Francis is a liberation theologian along the lines developed by Scanone, which was the one that in some ways supported some of the attitudes of Peronism," Boff added.

This isn't the only interview Boff has given where he has explained his relationship with Francis and how they are in communication.  From La Stampa's Vatican Insider, (quote in Italian) or (quote in Spanish):

You talk with the Pope? In what way?

"We have a mutual friend in Argentina. They talk every Sunday, they talk often. I send a few things to her and he (Francis) asks me others."

So what ideas has Boff been sharing with Francis recently?  Well dear reader you are in luck as Leonardo has a blog where he shares his thoughts.  This one has to be read to be believed as it is so heretical.  Boff's construct of the Holy Ghost being female appears to come from rabbincal Judaism's Shekinah and Hermaphrodite god.  After reading the blog entry below, one can safely say these ideas are most certainly not coming from God.

Early one sleepless morning, I returned to my usual work on the computer. Suddenly, it seemed that I heard something. I do not know if it came from the celestial world or from my mind in an altered state, but a voice, like a whisper, told me: “Son, I will reveal to you a truth that has always been there, in my Gospel writer Luke, but that the eyes of men, blinded by centuries of patriarchy, could not see. It is about the intimate and ineffable relationship between Mary and the Holy Ghost”.

And the voice continued whispering: “The one who is third in the order of the Trinity, the Holy Ghost, is the first in the order of creation. He came first to the world; then came the Son of God. It was the Holy Ghost who soared over the primitive chaos, and took from there all the orders of creation. As is said by my Gospel writer Luke recounts, that Spirit creator told Mary: He will come to you, Mary, and will set up his tent over you. This is why the engendered Saint will be called Son of God. To set up the tent, as you know, means to dwell, to inhabit definitively. If Mary, perplexed, had not said her fiat, let it be done according to Your word, the Son would not have been incarnated and the Holy Ghost would have not been feminized.

Listen, son, to what I am telling you: The Spirit came to dwell definitively over this woman, Mary. He identified with her, united Himself with her in such a radical and mysterious form that within her began to take shape the holy humanity of Jesus. The Spirit of life produced the new life, the new man, Jesus. To you and to all the faithful it is clear that the masculine was made divine through the man, Jesus of Nazareth. Now go to the Gospel of Saint Luke, and you will see that through Mary of Nazareth, the feminine was made divine as well, by the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost set up His tent, this is, He came to definitively dwell in her. Note that John, the Gospel writer, says the same about the Son: He set His tent in Jesus. Is it not the Spirit, the same voice whispers, that takes the prophet on a predetermined mission, and, when that mission is fulfilled, His presence within him ends? With Mary, it is different. He comes, dwells, and never leaves. She is elevated to the loftiness of the Divine Holy Spirit. Hence, logically, the engendered Saint will be called Son of God. Such is the case of Mary. Not without reason is she blessed among women.

Son, this is the truth you must proclaim: though Mary, God was revealed as both God-the-Father and God-the-Mother, also with the characteristics of the feminine: love, tenderness, caring, compassion and mercy. These virtues also are present in men, but they find a more visible expression in women.

Son, when you say God-the-Mother you will discover the feminine side of God, with all the feminine virtues. Never forget that no woman ever betrayed Jesus. They were faithful to Him even at the foot of the cross. While His disciples, the men, fled – Judas betrayed and Peter denied Him – but the women expressed a faithful love to the extreme. The women, well before the apostles, were the first to give testimony of the resurrection of Jesus, the greatest event in the history of salvation.

Maternity does not exhaust the feminine side of God, which is also revealed wherever there is intimacy, lovingness, gentleness and sensibility, which are perceptible in the feminine. Never let anyone, for any reason, discriminate against a woman for being a woman. Offer all the reasons that she must be respected and loved, because she reveals something of God that only she, together with man, can create, in My image and likeness. Support her struggles, gather her contributions to society, to the Churches, to the equilibrium between men and women. Women are a sacrament of God-the-Mother of all, the path leading us to the tenderness of God. Let’s hope that women embrace their divine side, found in one of their compañeras, Mary of Nazareth. The day will come when the blinders that cover your eyes will fall and then men and women will feel that they are made divine by the Son and by the Holy Spirit.”

When I came to, I knew with a clear mind just how much truth had been communicated to me. And, moved, I was filled with praise and thanksgiving.

Francis' radio address and one question interview in Brazil 2013

This is a Vatican Radio English translation of a broadcast made by Pope Francis after lunch on Saturday 27 July 2013, when he visited the studios of " Cathedral Radio" in Rio de Janeiro, where he spoke the following words:

Good morning, good evening to all the listeners. Thank you for your attention here and I thank the members of the Radio for the kindness in giving me the microphone. I thank them and I'm looking at the radio and I see that media today is very important. I would say that a radio, a Catholic Radio pulpit today is the closest we have. And 'where we can announce, through radio, human values, religious values, and above all to proclaim Jesus Christ, the Lord; give the Lord the grace to make room for Him in our lives. So I greet you and thank you for all the effort of this archdiocese to have a radio and keep it, with a network so great. To all you listeners I ask you to pray for me, pray for this radio, to pray for the bishop, to pray for the Archdiocese, so that we unite in prayer and work, as the priest said earlier, for a more human culture, more rich in values, and does not exclude anyone. That we all work for that word that isn’t liked these days: solidarity. It 'a word that one tends to try to put aside, again, because it is annoying and yet it is a word that reflects the human and Christian values that today we are urged to go against - as the priest repeated a little while ago - the culture of waste , according to which everything is excludable. A culture that always leaves out the people: excludes the children, excludes the young, the elderly, excludes all those who are not needed, that do not produce and this can not be! In contrast, solidarity includes all. You must continue to work for this culture of solidarity and for the Gospel.

The Pope is asked a question on the importance of the family:

Not only would say that the family is important for the evangelization of the New World, The family is important, it is necessary for the survival of humanity. If there is no family, the cultural survival of humanity is at risk. The family, like it or not, is the basis.
