Francis’ latest message — build bridges not walls and let the non-Christians overrun the little that is left of Christianity in Europe

(underlines are Call Me Jorge...’s for emphasis)

—English transcript —

I know that you are gathered in Munich, Bavaria, from many Movements and Groups, for your meeting called “Encounter – Reconciliation – Future”.
You are right. It is time to get together, to face the problems of our day with a true European spirit. Apart from some visible walls, other invisible walls are being strengthened which tend to divide our continent. These walls are being built in people’s hearts. They are walls made of fear and aggression, a failure to understand people of different backgrounds or faith. They are walls of political and economic selfishness, without respect for the life and dignity of every person.
Europe finds itself in a complex and highly mobile world, which is ever more globalised and therefore ever less Eurocentric.
If we are aware of these momentous issues, then we must have the courage to say: we need change! Europe is called to reflect and to ask itself whether its immense heritage, so permeated with Christianity, belongs in a museum or is still able to inspire culture and to offer its treasures to the whole of humankind.
You are meeting so as to look together at these challenges facing Europe and to highlight testimonies of life in society which enable networking, so as to welcome and show solidarity towards those who are weak and disadvantaged, to build bridges and overcome conflicts whether they are open or latent.
Europe’s history is an ongoing encounter between Heaven and earth. Heaven indicates openness to the Transcendent, to God, which has always been characteristic of European people. Earth represents their practical and concrete ability to address situations and problems.
You too, Christian communities and movements which began in Europe, are bearers of many charisms, which are gifts of God to be made available to others. “Together for Europe” is a unifying power with the clear aim of translating the basic values of Christianity into concrete responses to the challenges of a continent in crisis.
Your lifestyle is based on mutual love, lived out with Gospel radicalness. A culture of reciprocity means talking things over, esteeming one another, welcoming one another, helping one another. It means appreciating the diversity of charisms so as to move together towards unity and enrich it. The tangible and clear presence of Christ among you is the witness which leads to faith.
Every authentic unity draws on the wealth of diversity which forms it – like a family which grows in unity in so far as its members can fully and fearlessly be themselves. If Europe as a whole wants to be a family of peoples, it should put the human person back at the centre; it should be an open and welcoming continent, and continue to establish ways of working together that are not only economic but also social and cultural.
God always brings newness. You have experienced this so often in your lives! Are we open to surprises today too? You, who have answered the Lord’s call courageously, are called to show his newness in your lives and bring to life the fruits of the Gospel, fruits that have grown from Christian roots, which for the last 2,000 years have nourished Europe. And you will bear even greater fruit! Maintain the freshness of your charisms; continue to be “Together” and extend it further! Make your homes, communities and cities into workshops of communion, friendship and fraternity, which can bring people together and be open to the whole world.
Together for Europe? Today this is more than ever necessary. In a Europe made up of many nations, you bear witness to the fact that we are children of one Father and brothers and sisters to one another. You are a precious seed of hope, so that Europe can rediscover its vocation to contribute to the unity of all.

Barf!

More New World Order junk.

Francis is supposed to be on vacation.

Why can’t he just shut up?

The revolutionary takes no vacation even when he is on vacation...so does he ever sleep?

Francis and Estela Barnes de Carlotto

As can be seen in the above video from April 2013, Francis once again had an unusual guest in his private area during his general audience. It was none other than Estela Barnes de Carlotto.  Estela is the president of the Mothers and Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo. She also has confessed to having abortions and in 2010 was given an award by the Campaign for Keeping Abortion, Legal, Safe, and Free.   This is a clear demonstration of the modernist mind in Estela. The Mothers and Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo Garden is a ‘human rights’ group dedicated to finding babies stolen from their mothers during the Dirty War of Argentina but Estela has no problem stealing souls from God!  The symbol of the Mothers and Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo is a white veil and was blessed by the Pope.   This is a direct attack on purity symbolized by the white veil.  Furthermore, earlier in 2013 Estela defended the actions of the Marxist-Leninist guerillas in the Dirty War in an interview.  At a May Day Rally, Estela highlighted the victories of the Mothers and Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo and some of the fights to come:

Law of Gender, Equal Marriage, trial and punishment of genocide, the Media Act, the employment recovery, the Universal by Son, the nationalization of YPF and the decision to peacefully reclaim the Falklands. In this regard, said that "this democracy has more rights and so we will go for more, because we're all together, proud of the collective victory."

Lastly this past week, Estela Barnes de Carlotto was a guest of Francis again!  She and the Mothers and Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo even had an audience with him!

To sum it up, Francis by meeting her regularly condones all of this behavior!  Is this what Francis means by going out among the poor of the world?  Francis has a long history with  Estela but we at Call Me Jorge... don't see any religious conversions unless Francis' Novus Ordo religion believes abortion is OK, as are sodomites marrying. The attitude exhibited by the two shows that what matters is being materially comfortable in this world but not the world to come!

reading Francis through Skorka

Rabbi Skorka wrote a column today, El viaje del Papa a Tierra Santa: Palabras claras y acciones valientes, 1 July 2014, for Valores Religiosos in which he explains Francis' trip to the Holy Land.  Skorka sees Francis in the same fashion he sees Jesus, as a prophet of the Old Testament.  One who has been commanded by God to give voice to the poor and marginalized of the world, to tell their leaders to get their houses in order.  He also alludes to Francis being a symbol to extremists that despite the extremists best efforts, in the end inter-religious dialogue will bring peace to the world.  (Yeah, a peace under the Talmudic Noachide Laws.)  Lastly, Skorka calls for more inter-religious prayer meetings for peace to help defeat these same extremists.

The pope's trip to the Holy Land: Clear words and courageous actions
by Rabbi Abraham Skorka*

Pope Francisco defined his journey to the Holy Land with the word "pilgrimage", which he said was the essence of his visit to Jordan, Palestine and Israel. Amen (so be it) of the multiple moments of prayer and meeting with leaders of the various Christian denominations, Jews and Muslims, in order to strengthen the bonds of inter-religious dialogue, the Pope had to face the dramatic conflicts between the peoples of the Middle East.  With that term the Pope intended  to throw (off) any possibility of interpreting his trip as purely political one in order to achieve solutions to the difficult problems of the region.  (Francis was) Not intending to act as a mediator between political, economic and strategic interests. It (Francis' purpose) was to cry out for the dignity of every individual, whose palpitations --according to the story of the biblical text of Genesis-- (are) a breath of the Creator. Bergoglio acted according to the paradigm of the Prophets of Israel. These messengers of God loudly expressed sharp criticism against those responsible for the evils that were committed both within their people, (and) in other nations, as described, among others, in the book of Jonah.  The God of the Hebrew Bible, which Jews pray to, (as well as) Christians and Muslims, is not indifferent to the work of each individual, he wants to be honored by the application of justice and the development of profound feeling of love.  The prophets were sent by God to awaken the consciences of men.  His words involving political issues.  Criticized corrupt judges, dishonest officers, the petty priests and all those who from a position of power supported a reality that exploited one another.  His platform was not political, no social aspirations of leadership are in them. They were masters of the spirit.  From a Jewish perspective, Jesus can be seen as a teacher who continues the path of the Prophets.  (In the first chapter of his book "Jesus of Nazareth", Ratzinger, draws a parallel between Jesus and Moses, the greatest of the prophets).  Pope Francisco understood that prophetic fire which must give its message to the world. Clear and compelling words. Committed and courageous actions. The trip to the Holy Land had many points (which) had to be filed down and superlative efforts are required to overcome differences. The meeting of prayer for peace could only be achieved through great efforts and dedication. It is from this perspective that the trip made by the Pope in the Middle East should be analyzed. Not to look forward from one day to the next for their work of magic to be reached, the reality of peace.  But on the other hand, millions in the world, among whom were surely many that support extremists and fanatical ideas --saw Jews, Christians and Muslims together, invoking peace through a prayer meeting.  In a global reality in which the sensitivity that allows (one) to perceive the subtle message of a profound encounter in search of spirituality, is constantly undermined, the Pope sought the assistance of Peres and Abbas to issue a cry, like the ones God told the Prophets should exclaim.  A few days of this pilgrimage, in which I had the honor and spiritual satisfaction to take part in, informed the media about acts of vandalism in the region. The extreme fanaticism, blaspheming, invoking the name of God to defile and destroy his work, was also apparent in all its horror.  Destructive actions covered with dense and dark clouds on horizon seem to form as a monstrous response to the proceedings.  However, history, life, teaches us, these gloomy skies will only dissipate with the power of the sensible word, the one which vibrated in the Vatican gardens, for the hope of a better reality is still intact.
