...the mockery continues!
Sister Cristina was on Italian television pushing sales of her new self-titled album. She appeared on
"La Iene" today singing
'Like A Virgin' with hosts Ilary Blasi and Teo Mammuccari. In the always scripted world of
'surprise' television
everyone was dressed as a nun, yes even Teo! What lows Cristina will stoop to, in order to get a few shekels!
Her 15 minutes of fame are up. Back to the convent Suor Cristina and take Papa Francesco with you.
ReplyDeleteShe's heading the same way as the "singing nun" of the 1960s - suicide.
ReplyDeleteStrange phenomenon - the novus ordo manages to get worse and worse as when one imagines it has bottomed out, it descends even further.
Leon - I knew about that nun from the 1960s, and didn't Debbie Reynolds portray her in some film from that time? She ended up committing suicide? I had no idea. Bugnini apparently did by hanging himself just like Judas, if the footnotes in Rama Coomaraswamy's book THE DESTRUCTION OF THE CHRISTIAN TRADITION are correct, and that certainly seemed to be Judas all over again since he was the main architect with Montini of the new sacraments, particularly the abomination of desolation novus ordo missae.
Deletehttp://articles.latimes.com/1985-04-02/news/mn-19342_1_friend-commit-suicide Leon, you were absolutely right. There is the proof. I hope this won't be the end of Suor Cristina. She needs prayers, just like Mdme. Ciccione, whose song she is performing here, another person purportedly raised as a "Catholic" but who is anything but....yet she named her daughter Lourdes. They are in the same camp as other well known fallen away Catholics like the British actor Michael Jayston (who got bitter and fell away around the time of V2 from what I have read), George Martin, the author of those horrible Game of Thrones books - which someone on restoration radio said instead of Fire and Ice should be called Rape and Torture, and Sting of the group Police and then a solo performer, who, while a fairly accomplished musician, especially considering some of his rather decent performances of Renaissance music recently, had that horrible video where he appears in a monstrance as a "Christ" type figure. I can just see little Jacinta crying for them all - and us. Jacinta and Francisco Marto, pray for us all.
DeleteMaurice Pinay wouldn´t trust the writings of Rama Coomaraswamy:

Oh yes, I am with you there - Rama mixed with bad bedfellows which definitely puts a damper on any veracity out of his mouth. But I would like to know if the claim about Bugnini hanging himself to death like Judas is true or not. Can anyone verify that claim? Thanks. The Crowley stuff/connections definitely are NOT good though Cain WAS the brother of Abel, so it cannot condemn him outright. The entire Old Testament has stories of siblings, one good, one bad, and that also goes for parents and children. Blood connections doesn't necessarily make someone 'bad' by relationship, otherwise most of us who have liberal "Catholic" siblings/cousins/aunts/uncles/etc etc would have to look in the mirror and condemn ourselves, PLUS I have heard my own family is descended from Jews in France - but I certainly am not about to defend the Talmud or modern day Judaism by any means. So even his having a Jewish grandmother, per se, isn't enough to condemn him - but his association with Martin doesn't speak well for him, or these excuses for Crowley, especially when Crowley said he wanted Christianity to be replaced with Crowleyanity. Crowley is also the purported true grandfather of the Bush boys - the true birth father of Barbara Bush, according to a lot of conspiracy theories, as her Pierce mother was another one of his alleged lovers. Barbara does seem to have his eyes, and since Crowley wanted the Moonchild or antichrist to be born from his seed, from what some claim, that led to a lot of claims about Bush Junior when 9/11 happened, and whether or not he was the MaBus that Nostradamus talked about. Anyway, it would still be nice to have documentation on how exactly Bugnini died. Anyone who can provide that I would be grateful.
DeleteThat being said, his book on Vatican II, for the most part, is spot on and I can't fault the scholarship against the changes to the sacraments and the religion as they were before the Council. Hutton Gibson's book Is the Pope Catholic offers a more simplified version of that theme, but they both basically offer the same information.
There is nothing new under the sun .
