Selfie Sunday #12 — the City of Brotherly Love

In what has now become a papal tradition up there right alongside Francis’ inflight interviews is the papal selfie.  Every moment is an appropriate one to click away as long as one can get the selfie and post it to social media.  Nothing is too sacred and that includes the man-centered memorial known as the Novus Ordo Missae.  The North Americans, on 26 September 2015, demonstrated to Francis that they are part of his revolutionary reform of the Novus Ordo.  After all “making a mess” is all about me!

What are they here for?  Everyone has their cell phone out and is snapping away!

Francis’ priests are “making a mess” during his pontifical mess.

  7. News on the SHAMPOO Philly parish mergers or washing Catholicism out of the heirs:

"Our 100 parishioners from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Bridgeport formed an Italian American club and we’re not affiliated with any church now...The Grinch may have come along and taken all our material belongings but not our spirit. We both love Our Lady of Mount Carmel, so we have that in common and that’s all we need.”

Meanwhile the Shampoo Merged parish of Italians and Poles had their 2nd Annual "Festival of Families" (remember the World Meeting of Families where that communion for sodomites, adulterers, and fornicators spread his Joy of Love) the same weekend:

"Sacred Heart the parish we merged with had a festival of families. I go to that church but don't really feel anything towards it. It is a shame. Not very welcoming."

  8. Every time I have seen these photographs, I am utterly nauseated. These men seemingly have ZERO sense of what it means to be a priest. Though I know he wouldn't, Pope Francis should have publicly admonished the priests to put away their phones or just defrocked them all. Good Lord, my children know you don't take pictures at Mass. The papal personality cult has reached preposterous levels. How out of control can it get?
